Just one week until UTC Heathrow finds out if it has won Best Talent Developer award at the Data Centre World exhibition!
Taking place on 8-9 March at ExCeL London, the exhibition will see the world’s largest gathering of data centre professionals powering the digital economy.
We will be showcasing our Digital Futures programme there from our UTC Heathrow and Partners VIP Student Zone (stand D920). There UTC Heathrow students and staff will speak to visitors about our unique student curriculum, which is providing a vital UTC pipeline into the digital infrastructure industry by equipping youngsters with the skills they need for a lucrative career in the sector.
Visitors will also be able to meet some of the 10 employer partners currently supporting the programme – VIRTUS Data Centres, CNet Training, CyrusOne, Soben, Amazon Web Services (AWS), LMG (lmgiq.com), Yondr Group, CBRE Data Centers, Kao Data, and Ark Data Centres.
We’re delighted that one of UTC Heathrow’s shining talents, Employer Engagement and Careers Lead, Candace Rose Kumi, is one of number of panellists who will talking about Tackling the Talent Shortage (12.30-1.10pm, 8 March). Candace and data centre leaders (Andrew Stevens, Gail Stapleford, Riccardo Degli Effetti‘, and Paul Hood) will talk about collaborating as an industry to address the shortage, how the UTC Heathrow initiative is helping recruit young talent and the benefits businesses could reap by getting involved.
