Our Digital Futures Programme was in the spotlight last week when our amazing advocate and founder of the DFP, CNet Training’s President & CEO Andrew Stevens, gave a ‘best-in-class’ example of education working in industry at a conference held by the Baker Dearing Educational Trust.
The conference saw University Technical College (UTC) professionals from all over the country gather to share best practice and gather fresh ideas.
Of course the USP of UTCs is the high level of employer engagement the students get in preparation for their future careers. Andrew showed the room how the Digital Futures Programme is taking this to another level.
He spoke of how the programme, which is embedded in UTC Heathrow’s Engineering curriculum, is preparing students for a rewarding career in the data centre sector.
He also explained how the programme, which has been met with global acclaim, is benefitting those employers involved in delivering it, by inspiring fresh talent and future-proofing the industry.
