At UTC Heathrow, we take immense pride in expanding our students’ horizons above and beyond the curriculum. Our vision is for our students to recognise the connective tissue between the separate disciplines of Mathematics, Engineering, and Science, by running projects that tie into all the three. Some of our STEM research projects include forays into airplane flight dynamics, rocket propulsion, next-generation energy resources, and advancements in Biotechnology. We provide our students with access to a vast array of resources and information, whilst simultaneously developing their cognitive understanding of these myriad concepts. Our students engage in these projects with boundless enthusiasm and curiosity, and they show a heightened appreciation for the ways in which STEM affects our everyday lives.
