GCSE ENGLISH LANGUAGE

What does this qualification cover?

English language develops the essential skills that enable our communication with the world around us. It contains key skills that underpin every other subject; it is fundamental to developing strong academic, well-rounded and creative young people.

What’s included?

Students study a range of different texts, including 19th century fiction and non-fiction writing, as well as texts from the 21st century. As well as exploring these texts, students also their own creative writing, looking at fiction and non-fiction.

  • Articulation of sophisticated ideas through the development of language skills

 We are within walking distance from Northwood Hills Tube station on the Metropolitan line, and the area is well served by local buses on Pinner Road and Joel Street.
