What does this qualification cover?
What’s included?
The AQA Biology course covers the following topics:
- Cell biology
- Organisation
- Infection and response
- Bioenergetics
- Homeostasis and response
- Inheritance, variation and evolution
- Ecology
- Key ideas
At the end of year 11, our students sit 2 papers in Biology, each one worth 100 marks and 105 mins long. Students will receive one separate Science GCSE grade for Biology.

We are within walking distance from Northwood Hills Tube station on the Metropolitan line, and the area is well served by local buses on Pinner Road and Joel Street.
