UTC Heathrow students celebrate GCSE and technical qualification success
Year 11 students at UTC Heathrow are celebrating this morning after receiving their GCSE and Level 2 technical qualification results.
UTC Heathrow, a local Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school and sixth form for 14–19-year-olds, offers a STEM-focused education with specialisms in engineering and IT. The school combines core GCSEs with innovative learning in a unique workplace-inspired environment.
This year, we are delighted to see continued improvement across key subjects, the school celebrated:
- 100% of our students achieved a pass grade in Level 1/2 Engineering and IT
- 100% achieved GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics at grade 7 and above
- 62% achieved GCSE Maths at grade 4 and above
- 50% achieved GCSE English at grade 4 and above
- 9% achieved Level 2 Basics at Grade 7 and above
We are proud of ALL our students for their hard work and resilience.

David Blaszczyk who has performed extremely well with all 7, 8 & 9 grades in his subjects

Alongside their GCSEs and technical qualifications, students have worked closely with a range of employer partners to develop work-readiness skills and career insight. These real-world experiences give our students a strong foundation for future success, wherever their journey takes them.
UTC Heathrow is continuing to support students by providing information, advice and guidance on results day, as well as speaking with any local students still unsure of their options.
