On Monday 25 November 2024, Year 13 engineering students had the privilege of welcoming back Vertiv and Digital Realty, partners in the Digital Futures Programme, for an engaging second session as part of their BTEC Unit 11 module on Engineering Maintenance and Condition Monitoring Techniques.
Students delved into critical aspects of engineering maintenance, learning about various maintenance types, associated costs, and real-world condition monitoring techniques. Thanks to Frank from Vertiv and Graeme from Digital Realty, our students gained first-hand insights into maintenance challenges and solutions in industry.
By bridging the gap between theory and practice, we’re equipping students with skills that directly address the digital infrastructure sector’s skills gap and prepare them for thriving careers.
