Heathrow Aviation Engineering UTC students celebrate A-level success

Heathrow Aviation Engineering UTC offers students aged 14-19 the opportunity to study highly regarded, full-time, technically oriented courses with an emphasis on aviation engineering, maths and science.

The vast majority of students study for technical qualifications in engineering, with some also studying complementary A-levels. The average grade for technical qualifications is a Distinction and a C- average grade for A-level subjects.

Wayne Edwards, Principal at Heathrow UTC, said: “We are delighted to see that the hard work of students and staff has seen strong results that are considerably higher than the previous year and the best results in the UTC’s short history. Many students have secured fantastic apprenticeship offers with engineering companies or will be progressing to a wide range of universities to study engineering or related qualifications.”
